Hey folks 👋 I’ve almost reached 10,000 views on my blog. Thank you all for being such awesome followers!!
Honestly! Who’s Going to Read it?
I started blogging after numerous people kept telling me that I *had* to get into it. I love writing but the idea of sharing my thoughts and feelings with the world was nerve wracking. And besides that, who would actually read my blog?
Finally I gave in and decided that if just one person gets something from hearing my stories, that’s what matters.
I didn’t set out to become a popular blogger in my niche. Initially, I wanted an outlet for my writing. Blogging seemed like a great way to record mine and Beckett’s journeys.
Now here we are a year later and my words have been read nearly 10,000 times 😱. It turns out that connecting with others and creating a community of LGBTQ people and allies has been my favourite part.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I’m going to be starting testosterone soon.
My voice and appearance will start to change once I begin hormone replacement therapy (HRT). I want to find ways to document those changes. I will make videos & voice recordings along with taking photographs weekly for my own proof to look back on. I know that I’m going to need to see evidence of how I’ve changed.
I have decided that once I hit 10,000 views, I’m going to start adding podcasts or videos to my blog periodically. I will continue to share my writing because that’s my therapeutic outlet. But my question for you is: Which would you rather have me include as well?
Podcasts or Videos?
